How to Record A Live Video and Overlay It?
Main Post:
Hello. I want to learn dance choreographies and be able to use my computer + webcam as a mirror and recorder at the same time.
I want to record myself live and overlay it over a dance video. My "layer" would have increased transparency so I could align myself over the dancer in the video to see if I'm mimicking their movements correctly.
I want to be able to:
-control the dance video easily (ex: skip to the beginning over and over) while I'm practicing
-combine the two layers at the end of a practice session and export/save it
My idea was to have a streaming setup with green screen over a YouTube video.
Any guidance on software/equipment to achieve this?

How to layer multiple videos on top of each other while seeing them all as one video?
Main Post:
Hello! I don’t really have any experience with video editing and I haven’t been able to find what I’m looking for on Google (there’s probably a specific term that I don’t know) so I’m hoping you guys can point me in the direction of some tutorial or even just tell me what the term I’m looking for is so I can find them myself.
I want to layer two or more videos together so that they all look like one video. I’m not sure if that makes sense so let me give some context. I’m a dancer and am working on a couple of pieces that involve two or more people but I don’t have anyone else I’m working with yet. I want to be able to record my dance as person A and person B, then edit those videos together into one so I can see how person A and B look together. I don’t have access to a green screen so alternatives to that are preferred but if there’s no way to do this without a green screen please let me know. I’m willing to look at specialty programs but I don’t want to spend a ton of money on one as this is probably the only thing I’ll use it for. Tutorial suggestions or even just the name of this technique would be incredibly helpful. Thanks!
Top Comment: If the videos have the same camera position then you can either opt for stack them into eachother and reduce the opacity.

Only 8.86% of YouTube Channels have over 1k subscribers.
Main Post:
I mentioned this once before - want you all to know. Nice reminder. Block out all the noise of people saying it's very easy etc. Its a very significant milestone. Theres 138million YouTube channels. Only roughly 10 million hit that 1k sub milestone. Even less so for 4k watch hours....so keep going !! Don't think your underachieving cause one guy on or girl said "Only 1k blah The data is here btw ⬇️ blah"....https://indiy.com/how-many-youtube-channels-have-over-1k-subscribers/
Top Comment: I mean...don't people have to create a "channel" to like and subscribe? I want to know how many people, who are actively making videos, actually get subscribers.
